Vibe coding workshop for humanities and social sciences

On 29 May 2026, we hosted a vibe coding workshop for the humanities and social sciences. More than 40 researchers and students gathered at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science to vibe code their digital products and tools.

We partnered with Lovable, a vibe coding tool that does not require advanced coding skills to build digital products. The first part of the workshop featured Evgenija Burger from Klub ADA, who gave a thorough presentation on the process of vibe coding based on two use cases: how she vibe coded her personal website and a digital tool for task management with Lovable. It became clear that prompting is the most important part.

The second part of the workshop was dedicated to researchers and students vibe coding their own digital tools. What was vibe coded? Personal websites, project websites, quizzes, qualitative data analysis tools, web scraping tools, a student attendance tracker and many other tools.
